It’s easy to not care, isn’t it? If you don’t care then you can’t hurt, right? If you don’t care then it doesn’t matter if you win or lose. If you don’t care your heart won’t get broken. If you don’t care you won’t ever be disappointed. If you don’t care it all just rolls off your back. If you don’t care you never really do anything though right?
If you don’t care you never take risks, without that, well what’s the point?
How can you grow if you don’t care? How can you grow if you don’t take risks? How can you grow?
At the end of the day when we don’t care all we’re really doing is protecting ourselves from the chance of growing, of connecting, of stretching beyond who we’ve been until now.
