But I’m Forever Journal #18

Just because we know what to do doesn’t mean we’ll do it. Isn’t that the problem?

We know that we should get more exercise, we’re told by our doctors, by our family, by articles and experts, and by our own conscious and then we choose differently.

We choose to stay where we have always been, to be who we have always been, we choose to remain the same.

So it’s not really about access is it? I mean it is of course. We need to know there’s something else out there for us but this is only a part of the battle.

The other part comes after and is arguably the most difficult.

The part where we choose.

So this is where so many of us are.

Knowing what we have to change, knowing what we have to do, knowing that it’s going to be more than difficult, that it may, at times, feel downright impossible and choosing to do it anyway.

What is something you know you have to do? What is something that “you should know better”  that you’re still indulging in? What is one thing you can choose to do differently today?
