If you’re not saying hell yeah to something just say no
Let’s talk about saying yes. Let’s talk about saying YES!!!! Not sure, or maybe, or I guess. But a resounding and emphatic YES!
Think back to the last time you said yes like this. That you were truly excited about an opportunity. What was that? What evoked that type of feeling in you? How did you feel? Did your heart speed up? Did you smile from ear to ear and jump up?
I know I had a huge issue before, I always said yes. Always.
Let me tell you something, there are certain times in our careers when we think it’s more beneficial to us if we just put ourselves into every opportunity. Sometimes that’s ok, but honestly what’s most important is to have the energy to do what we truly love with all of our energy instead of burning both ends of the candle and doing a ton of things rather half-assed.
So tell me something, what opportunities do you have on the horizon that you would say HELL YES to? What would it take for you to not just do it well, but to be in the top 1% of people doing that? What things could you say no to that would free up the mental and emotional space for that? Lastly, what’s keeping you from putting those things into action?
