What a crazy word right? Like we can redeem ourselves from ourselves? From our past actions. We can rehabilitate ourselves? We can change?
Of course I believe we can all change. That we can learn from our past mistakes and choose to be someone else, a better version of ourselves.
I think there are some places we can’t come back from, but I think for the majority of people, we can change.
The thing about change tho, is that in order to change, we have to take responsibility for our past actions, we have to try to make ammends, and then we have to chose to be different.
That’s the whole enchilada right?
You have to choose to be different. And not just once, but again and again and again and again.
It’s about making the right choice even when its the hard choice.
Sometimes you’re going to make mistakes. Sometimes you’re going to disappoint people, but it’s about what comes next. How you handle what’s happened. Do you stop and take responsibility? Or do you blame others? I think you know what answer takes you where.
