We always talk about how we’re not supposed to compare ourselves to everyone else’s highlight reel. We talk about catfishing, hatfishing, luxurlifefishing, all types of fishing. But what about this. What if we decide to start showing off our B roll? What if we decide that our B roll is a better story? A worthwhile story? That we are good enough even when we’re not at our best. Maybe if we start to show ourselves like really show ourselves, we can help encourage others to share their B rolls. Maybe that’s where the magic is. In just being us. For better or worse.
And maybe next time we see someone post their wonderful A reel, we’ll be able to be truly happy, because a win for them is really a win for us all. We rise together no?
